Victor Temple – Artistic Director
Victor Temple is an internationally known dancer, choreographer, and teacher. He has danced with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Cirque Du Soleil, American Repertory Ballet, Oakland Ballet, Alabama Ballet, New Jersey Ballet, Honzhou Song and Dance Group, Shanghai Ballet, and the Central Ballet of China. While living in China, we won a gold medal for the Asian Choreography Competition and was the first westernener to hold a position as a member of the Chinese Dancers' Associations, as a liaison of western dance styles. Mr. Temple choreographed the opening of the China and Hong Kong reunification ceremony and was honored with a statue of his likeness at the theater entrance of the Arts University of Mongolia in recognition of his accomplishments. He has been Artistic Director of New World Ballet since 2005.
Melissa Musser – Executive Director
Executive Director at New World Ballet, Melissa began dancing at a very young age. She began her training at American Dance in Petaluma, California with a focus in Classical Ballet and Horton Technique. At 17 Melissa moved to New York to study Ballet, Horton based Modern, and Jazz in the professional division at The Alvin Ailey School. After returning to California, she was asked to run The Dance Shop in San Rafael, California. There, Melissa gained over 10 years of professional pointe shoe fitting, and business management experience. Recently, Melissa has danced and performed with various modern and contemporary companies around the bay area.
